Wondaland SS14: A cruise affair

The SS14 Wondaland‘s collection is glamorous, vibrant, designed by the founder Alice Keswick with the globetrotting girl in mind. Her wardrobe is a medley of her travels around the world from vintage pieces found in a Parisian flea market, to tribal and ethnic treasures found trawling the markets of Goa or Ibiza, mixed with a high-fashion city edge. From Shoreditch or Manhattan to Ibiza or Glastonbury, this is a collection that can dress you for every destination.Eileen Cuisine|A cruise affair, wearing Wandaland dress

The collection features an array of new luxe fabrics, including an antique-style lace embroidered with neon thread available in the Salinas Shorts, Hamptons Dress and Soho Tee. An ethnic twill has also been introduced, giving an Indian twist, in the form of the Glasto shorts, matching bustier vest and the Chelsea jacket.
Wondaland’s summer staple, the Chambray, returns again this season but in new styles, from shorts and skirts with white piping to playsuits, mini dresses and even a summer trench with the signature best-selling bird print lining. New prints are also a big feature throughout, including the new ‘Strobe’ print in bright pink and navy to the stunning ‘Orchid Zig Zag’ on a woven crochet fabric.
Inspired by amazing colours and textures from every corner of the world, this is a large but thoughtful collection. Each piece has an obvious uniqueness and styles can be paired together but just as easily worn as separates for an eclectic look.

The Panarea dress I am wearing is an absolute dream, suitable to a wedding party, the envy of everyone on a cruise, or a glam stroll on the beach. Make sure you check the entire collection, I am positive you will find yourself wearing the beautiful pieces the designer has to offer.
