Villandry for Valentine’s Day

We’ve found the right outfit and the perfect date, so we’re ready for Valentine’s Day. Or are we? Is there anything in particular that you would like to do, except starring in the mirror and admiring yourself, or better, your plus one? Well, I don’t know about you, but I love to eat. And eat the best food, nonetheless. I truly recommend Villandry St James for the ultimate French Mediterranean cuisine experience. Dine in an atmosphere of understated elegance beneath high ceilings and a period skylight, especially on the Valentine’s Day, when they have prepared a menu absolutely delicious. The presentation is exciting, and even the most pretentious couple will be satisfied, especially when they’ll be welcomed with a glass of Jenkyn Place sparkling rose.

It is so delicate but powerful, at the same time. villandry cafe valentines dayNext comes the main course, venison fillet with savoy cabbage and bacon, winter vegetables and jus: a symphony of tastes, harmonizing to perfection. I must admit, I am not a steak fan, but this one was out of this world, tender and moist, while the garnish accompanied it like a dream. villandry cafeFinish the meal with white chocolate fondant with fresh raspberries, such a decadent and majestic dessert, an absolute delight in presentation.

The Valentine’s Day special menu is £50/person and will be available on February 13th and 14th. You should book here, as seats are limited. Dine in one of the most beautiful restaurants in London, right in Piccadilly Circus. The evening will be complete!
