I’ve been a good girl. I’ve eaten everything on my plate (when in restaurants, after seeing the prices), I’ve been thankful for all the clothes in my dressing room (especially, for the ones I’ve paid for with my credit card), and I’ve loved everyone (mostly, in my dreams). See? There is hope, even for me. I know I have had my less inspired moments, such as when I’ve lusted those outfits in Harrods, and spent my entire year’s wage on a pair of heels. This helped my diet, so I can still find good outcomes in everything. I am maturing, as some people would say.
Enough with the intro, let me tell you the reason behind this letter. I sort of need something from you. I know, I know, you hear this every day, especially around this time of year. But my need is important and essential. Love, peace and harmony are on the top of my list. Please, give these to everyone, so I won’t feel the constant impulse to bicker about some attitudes. Now that this is settled, you’ve received, I am sure, my wish lists I’ve complied all year long. And to show you I am so understanding, you can choose any of them. I am making your job so easy, that next year I want it all!
