Pork steak in cider with cream and mustard sauce

By March 28, 2013

This pork steak melts in your mouth, as my husband says and the combination with the sweet sauce and puree is absolutely fantastic. A main course I'm saving to favorites!

Instructions

1. Heat a couple of oil tbsp in a pan, then fry the pork on both parts. Remove the pork from the pan and let it rest.

2. In the same pan add the onion and saute until it softens. Add the pork back in the pan, pour cider, add bay leaves and season. Bring it to a boil then put everything in a covered casserole and leave in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, for an hour and a half.

3. Remove from the oven and cut the meat in small pieces. Add the cream, mustard and parsley and leave 5 more minutes in the oven. Serve with puree or veggies.
