Mussels and chilli appetizer
This is a great appetizer for seafood lovers. I am one of them, my husband is terrified every time we order something at a restaurant (as you've seen in some of my reviews), I must have some fish or prawns. It's a rule I follow religiously. I don't cook fish as much at home because I am the only one enjoying it, and where's the fun in eating alone? I recon, sometimes, I have lunch by myself at some fancy restaurants just because I want to eat with my eyes closed, stopping the time and savoring every bite.
Anyway, got too far from the subject. Have this appetizer with your friends and family, it will look amazing on the menu and table, trust me, you'll change some hearts;)
1. Fry the garlic and chilli in olive oil for 2 minutes. Add the mussels, washed really good and drained, leave on a high heat for 8 minutes.
2. Pour the wine, leave until evaporated. Sprinkle with parsley, lemon juice and season.
3. Place the mussels on top of the bread slices and serve.
