Travel smart with Uber. Eat well with Uber Eats

I need to confess something. I am addicted to Uber. Living in London has its perks of cultural events, new interesting people you get to meet from all walks of life, amazing restaurants opening every week, and much more wonderful activities. The downside is commuting in a city of over 8 million locals, tourists, and transients. Spending more than 2 hours traveling is unthinkable when your to-do list is as big as Santa’s. We only get one life, and spending it in an overcrowded tube is not the best way to pass time. This is where Uber comes into play. I’ve used their services almost every time I needed to reach an event pretty fast, or when I was getting home late, which as a blogger, happens quite a lot! I can’t say one time when I had a bad incident with a driver. They all seemed pretty respectful, and some of them even offered water or candies. I’ve had quite philosophical conversations with some of the drivers, so the long road from Romford to Old Street passed pretty fast.  Nonetheless, I am a people’s person so this might help stir up the conversation. Also, I’ve noticed the cars are really clean, and most of them are electric, taking care of the already polluted environment.Uber

I got all excited about sharing my secret of my punctuality, that I forgot to tell you about my gift for you this Christmas.

With the code EATWEARTRAVEL you get up to £15 towards your first ride, anywhere in England.

Why would you choose Uber?

Tap the app, get a ride!
– Uber is the smartest way to get around. One tap and a car comes directly to you. Your driver knows exactly where to go.
Ready anywhere, anytime
– Daily commute. Errand across town. Early morning flight. Late night drinks. Wherever you’re headed, count on Uber for a ride—no reservations needed.

Low-cost to luxury
– You can always request everyday cars at everyday prices. But sometimes you need a bit more space. Or you want to go big on style. With Uber, the choice is yours.
Behind the Wheel  – They’re people like you, going your way
– What makes the Uber experience truly great are the people behind the wheel. They are mothers and fathers. Students and teachers. Veterans. Neighbors. Friends. They drive their own cars—on their own schedule—in cities big and small.
Helping Cities – For the good of all
– A city with Uber has more economic opportunities for residents, fewer drunk drivers on the streets, and better access to transportation for those without it.
Safety – Putting people first
– Whether riding in the backseat or driving up front, every part of the Uber experience has been designed around your safety and security.

jean jacques ukThis is not all you can do with Uber. You’ve been assailed with my food snaps, restaurant reviews and recipes over the years, on all my social media, to know I am a gourmand. But, being a blogger means a lot of takeouts, since these posts are never going to write themselves. My favourite app is Uber Eats, where you can get the food you want, from the restaurants you love in London, at Uber speed! Crave. Tap. Enjoy.

You get £5 off your first and second order with the code ELENASANDOR.

Uber Eats is currently available in zones 1 + 2 of London. The average order takes 35 minutes from start to finish. You can pay with your Uber account and track your order on the site as it comes to you. How easy is that?jean jacques uk
