The Wedding Gallery – Iris Floral Shop

I am a woman who loves flowers. Nothing new here, 99.9 percent of us fit this category. But when Iris, one of the best floral shops in Romania, invites you to The Wedding Gallery, you realize you knew nothing about flowers. With an experience of over 45 years of making everything more beautiful, colorful, and bright, Iris creates a story and brings up the classy side of any major event in your life. This is why, last week, Iris Floral Shop has made it possible to dream about weddings in an uplifting and stunning way, with its first edition of The Wedding Gallery. Spectacular floral arrangements created by the florist designer Nicu Bocancea, one of the best florists in Europe, made me want to redo my wedding vows. Every year, just to have different decors inspired from the ideas the designer introduced for next season.

Animated by current trends, he proposed elegant and refined arrangements from classic to vintage chic, modern and minimalist, and also a chromatic palette to embolden all the enthusiasts who entered the Iris Concept Store for a wedding to remember. All the rooms on Calea Mosilor 34 were decorated in a specific style, for all tastes. The first room was named Wedding in nature, a beautiful autumn rich table setup, perfect for a countryside stylish wedding, pretentious enough, but also intimate and inviting. floraria Iris The wedding gallery dsc_1525The trends room showed opulent centrepieces in primary colours such as shades of yellow orchids and deep burgundy roses, high enough to maintain visual contact, but exquisite to compete with the bride’s dress. I loved the minimalist room where the entire ceiling was covered in green stems and white flowers, a sign next year is for intricate arrangements, nothing shy of abundance. dsc_1192dsc_1167j The most breathtaking room that impressed  me beyond words, was the Wedding in an Attic. Already available for cosy events for up to 70 guests, the attic showed five different styles to decorate the wedding table, like nothing seen before. It made me so jealous of future brides, because 6 years ago when I got married, I made my civil wedding bouquet at Iris. And then I chose a different florist for my wedding in Brasov, at a friend’s suggestion. Bad mistake, but this a story for another time. The first style I fell in love with was the long table setup on marsala shades with tall single candles, creating an astonishing storyline, perfect for impressing your guests. It is destined for classy and modern weddings, with just the right touch of luxury. dsc_1331dsc_1256 dsc_1309 dsc_1276 dsc_1308

The second table was depicted from a vintage love story, with old books, macarons, cheerful roses in spring tones, and silver candlesticks. My favourite table, probably because it reminded me dearly of Alice in Wonderland, the story I hold closely to my heart. The beauty of the entire attic was behind understanding the florist designer who envisioned each precious detail and refined perspective upon style and beauty. I can totally see myself at this table with my friends for any special occasion, not only for a wedding!dsc_1283g dsc_1338dsc_1318j dsc_1341jdsc_1211 I honestly felt time stood still the entire journey spent at Iris, walking among the beautiful flower arrangements, discovering new designs at each corner, from luxurious plants coming down the ceiling, to minimalist vases; from white branches as dividers and suspended vines, to flowerpots, Iris has a style to suit every taste and all the ingredients to elevate your wedding to a memorable event. What is your favourite table setup?dsc_1291jk dsc_1269 dsc_1330 dsc_1312 dsc_1268
