Go Binge – the social bingers favourite by Three UK

You know me, wherever and whenever I have some free time, I’ll watch my favourite shows. In the tube, on the sofa, in a pub, even on a walk, if Emma is with her babysitter and I have finished my work (more like procrastinating), I’ll binge watch. My list is quite impressive. I used to be a walking compendium when it came to knowing all the shows airing on TV or online, but after the baby I had to pause my particular hobby. Now since we’re all settled, I am back in business. Not everyone around me though, so I miss talking with people about my favourite shows. This October Three UK are launching the ‘Binge Club‘, an online community that brings online audiences together to discuss their favourite shows live. This is something I have been waiting for a long time, because who doesn’t want to talk about the season 2 of Stranger Things? All the customers are allowed to stream content on their phones without using up their data allowance through apps such as Netflix, TV Player, Deezer and Soundcloud. As an avid Netflix watcher, this comes as an early Christmas present to me. The first episode of Binge Club is centered around the new season of Stranger Things and it’s coming this Halloween! I am definitely going to be watching the first half of the season this weekend and tune into the live show discussing with the community all the hot details of the season. It’s like a book club, but better. The thrill and anticipation of what’s going be happening next is better experienced when you have a livestream on Facebook full of passionate people just like you.

One in four Brits are binge watching, and I am one of them, especially during downtime when commuting. But the fear of using too much data kind of puts me off so the new ‘Go Binge’ service from Three UK is more than welcomed. Giving us more freedom to stream content on the go is what the future should look like. Bingeing has become a big part of our lives, especially when we don’t have time to sit and watch an episode whenever they’re aired. The network gives people the freedom to use their data to stream their favourite shows and music without any boundaries and without worrying about restrictive data allowance or charges. With the Binge Club enabling topics of conversation, the tribe of binge watchers can share their experiences between them and their social circle. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a  long time, since not all of my friends have the same preferences in shows as I do. What better way to enter a club you actually have something in common with the rest of your online mates? Three UK thought things through after a long research and it’s right up my alley. Are you looking forward to Go Binge? Post sponsored by Three UK. All opinions are my own.
